Kids Bop has covered and completely torn apart Lady Gaga’s #1 hit single, changing several lyrics and removing any lyric that mentions the LGBT community.
What even is. Really? Changing “lover” to “viewpoint” is somewhat understandable, but taking out the most important lyrics of the song? If you’re going to take out and change so much of the song, then don’t even cover it. Gaga’s response to radio stations wanting to take out the same lyrics was to not even play the song. How can this cover exist, I can’t even.
I really don’t understand the “censoring” of the LGBT message to children. Kids have been exposed to women’s rights and black rights in school. Why not gay rights? If kids can be shown romantic relationships between a boy and a girl on television, on kid’s shows even, why not a boy and a boy? Or a girl and a girl? What’s the big deal?
You never see anyone of Lady Gaga’s super star status doing CD signings anymore. Not only did Gaga show up and sign CDs, she also made sure that every fan got a professional picture with her. She sat for FIVE HOURS at the Best Buy signing with no breaks! This was intended to be a 2 Hour event but Lady Gaga did not turn anyone away, nor let her security rush anyone! She met every fan with a smile and gave everyone a hug. She signed every single CD. Even when some people asked for ridiculous things, like her talking on the cell phones to friends, and doing special poses, she kept a smile on her face and was super sweet to everyone single Little Monster who came up. Some people were waiting at Best Buy over 24 hrs in advance and Lady Gaga made sure that they all got their moment and she didn’t make any of them feel like they were wasting her time. She danced with them, she sang with them, she hugged and kissed them, and she cried with them! After all of that, she was kind enough to take pics with all the event staff! People wonder why we love and support Lady Gaga the way that we do, this is one of the many reasons why! I wasn’t even there, but I would like to say Thank You Lady Gaga on behalf of all Little Monsters! I love you! PAWSUP

Born This Way was leaked today. It’s 2011; this was expected. I’m personally not going to listen to the leaks out of respect for GaGa, and I want to be able to sit down and enjoy the album all at once when it’s released. Not everyone is going to wait, and I respect that. It doesn’t make you any less of a Little Monster. It irks me that there are people going around and condemning people for listening to it. GaGa promotes love and acceptance, so let’s follow her example and NOT spread hatred and drama.
If you listen to the leaks, please support GaGa and actually purchase the album once it’s released. If you’re choosing to wait, do the same.
I can’t wait to sit here with my headphones on next Monday and listen to this album for the first time.
